01. Where are you based?

We’re based in Tokai, Cape Town, South Africa, and work on projects across the Western Cape as well as further afield. For clients outside the area, we’re also able to consult virtually.

02. How far in advance should we get in touch?

It’s always helpful to reach out as early as possible. For renovations, installations or larger projects, we recommend getting in touch around 3–6 months before you’d like work to begin, giving us enough time to plan properly, source pieces and develop the design direction. New builds and full-home projects may require a longer lead time, while consultations can often be arranged much sooner.

03. How would you describe your design style?

Our work is grounded in timeless, considered and comfortable interiors. We’re drawn to natural materials, layered textures and spaces that feel refined without feeling overly styled. Most importantly, every interior is shaped around the client, the architecture and the way the space needs to be lived in.

04. How long does the design process usually take?

Timelines vary depending on the scale and complexity of the project. As a general guide, the main design phase can take around 9–12 weeks, with larger renovations and builds often running longer due to sourcing, contractor schedules and installation requirements. A project-specific timeline will be outlined once we understand the full scope.

05. How does billing work?

Once the scope has been agreed, we’ll provide a detailed proposal outlining the services, fees and payment schedule for your project. A retainer is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining fees typically divided across key stages of the project.

Everything is clearly outlined before work begins, so you’ll know what is included and when each payment is due.
