This space was designed to showcase the Four Cousins and Van Loveren brand in Robertson. Our brief was to create good looking and intimate spaces for 3 restaurant areas as well as a wine tasting area and gift shop. The final result exceeded the client’s expectations and has become a destination in the Robertson valley.

The brief for this project was to create an interior that was light and breezy and suitable for large families. We used a variety of materials including tarnished metals, textured fabrics of subtle pinks and durable surfaces for commercial use.

Our latest addition to the Van Loveren Family restaurant is a wine bar that captures the essence of Robertson’s landscape through a rich and immersive interior experience. Inspired by the artistry of winemaking, the space is layered with warm oak timbers, luxurious marble tabletops, tactile fabrics and richly textured finishes, all grounded in a palette of deep earth and wine-inspired hues. Every material was carefully selected to reflect the surrounding vineyards and celebrate the craftsmanship behind every bottle of Van Loveren wine.

We created an intimate, sophisticated retreat where guests can settle beside the crackling fireplace, savour exceptional wines and share artisanal pizzas in an atmosphere that is deeply connected to its surroundings.
